With this short 2hrs course you will learn some basic theory along with some basic and advance flying skills with trainer and regular kite to experience a bit of what this sport is all about…

5. Carry and handle the kite properly


1. Have basic flying skills with trainer kite
2. Launch and land the trainer kite with an assistant
3. Twist and untwist the lines while flying the kite
4, Walk and change directions while flying the kite
5. Know the wind window


1. Set up a 4/5 line kite with full de-power system
2. Pre-flight check equipment and settings
3. In-flight check equipment and settings
4, Pull release system and active leash
5, Understand and use the international communication signals
6. Launch and land the kite to assistant and as an assistant – 4/5 – line de-power kite


1. Control the kite hooked into harness
2. Understand the de-power system and can use the safety systems
3. Advance flying skills with de-power kite
4. Show full control of de-power system in flight


1. Self-land
2. Recover the bar and kite

With this course you gonna have fun not only on the beach but in the water too… Once you’ll get the trainer kite and the regular kite under control you will experience your first body drag in water…
Additionally this course will teach you as well how to relaunch the kite out of the water and will prepare u for final stage water start …

If you are keen to commit and decide to become an independent kiteboarder, this course will teach you all aspects of the kitesurfing sport
from A to Z within a few sessions. At the end of the course, you will be qualified and certified with an IKO kiteboarder card up to level 3.
Certification standards were designed to validate a student’s achievements from the first day you start to learn until your first jump
Once your course is finished and you start practising on your own, your goal should be to accomplish IKO Level 3 status followed by your
independent kiteboarder IKO Level 3N status.
We provide further lessons to acquire/refine skills and certify your additional status.
Note: Most rental places require you have 3N status.

Step one

1. Correct body drag with hydro-board
2. Short distance ride with short 40cm mast to be able to maintain control over the board

Step two

1. With 60cm mast your goal will be now to speed up a bit more and achieve more gliding time over the water with correct kite and body position

Step three

1. Final stage on full length mast 90+ cm
